    Description

    AQUAMARINE & SMOKY QUARTZ
Davib Ost Farm 61, Karibib District, Erongo Region, Namibia

One major and one minor Aquamarine crystal sit on a dark Smoky Quartz matrix. The large doubly-terminated Aquamarine is 2.04 inches (5.2 cm) in length and 0.98 inches (2.5 cm) across. Color is light blue, and surfaces are quite striated, giving the piece a sleepy sort of luster. The condition of the Aquamarine is pristine, with minor in-pocket nicking to the Smoky Quartz. This aesthetic specimen was from the renowned Namibia collection of Heini Soltau and was published in both editions of the von Bezing Namibia reference books.
    Overall measurements: 3.6 x 3.0 x 2.7 inches (9.2 x 7.7 x 6.9 cm)
