The fact that the mineral Apatite is a significant component of human bones is quite something when considering that the "novelty" of this specimen is that it has one crystal termination which has broken and re-healed! As if such a phenomenon were not enough, the piece features crystals of Palygorskite. The most formidable quality of this, though, is that it once resided in the collection of John Sinkankas.
