SILVER CRYSTAL GROUP

Wolverine Mine, Keweenaw Peninsula, Michigan
A fine, arborescent group of silver crystals to ½ inch in length. The habit of the crystals is one of elongated octahedrons. There is some matrix on the back and in recesses. The patina is a golden hue half-way between the dead-white of fresh polished material and the oxidized, matte-black of old pieces. There is an accompanying label from Gene Schlepp; dealer and collector. The specimen is in fine condition and it measures 2 ½ x 1 ½ x 1 ¼ inches thick.
