The color of the Fluorite in this absolutely huge specimen is a very bright, vibrant green when backlit, a color more intense than the vast majority of Xianghualing Fluorites. Most of the intergrown Fluorite cubes are sharply formed, with distinct bevel modifications along the edges that add just enough complexity to the cubes, without losing the beauty of their simplicity. The largest of these Fluorites reaches an impressive 7.6 centimeters across the edge. In a smaller quantity, yet no less impressive, are well-formed growths of flattened, rhombohedral ("poker chip") Calcite scattered across the Fluorite. Both of these minerals are nicely crystallized along the crest of a deep grey matrix that has a microcrystalline texture and white veins which once contained mineral-rich fluids. There is one restoration on one of the Calcite crystals. Three of the Calcites have minor scuff marks around one of their corners.
