Centered in this splendid bi-color Tanzanite crystal is a deeply cerulean phantom, outlined by gemmy olive-green zoning. Each of the crystal faces, minus the well-formed termination at the top of the specimen, are nicely striated; all flashing brightly from the Tanzanite's glassy luster. Most interestingly, the level of pleochrism in this specimen is immense! When rotated in front of a polarized screen, the entire crystal shifts from an deep blue to a rich yellow-green.
