    2.11 x 0.57 x 0.43 inches (5.36 x 1.45 x 1.10 cm)

    This geometric elongated crystal of Tincalconite is obviously similar to Borax and looks much like a stick of chalk that has flat sides, rather than a rounded exterior. This white mineral comes from a number of places in California, though this is not from the type locality. It was named for its powdery composition.
