Every now and again, the Gold specimens from this famous Brazilian locality will throw out a handful of stranger examples. This specimen shows the Gold fanning upward with stunning hoppering on the front and chunky dendritic growth on the reverse side. About halfway up, the Gold continues rising on the right edge of the piece as an isolated spire (reaching a height of 2.2 centimeters), which is ribbed all along its outermost edge with well-defined crystals.
