    Santa Elena de Uairen

This specimen of Gold from Venezuela needs little build-up given it has the provenance of having graced the collections of both Frank M. Levy and the legendary F. John Barlow. The relatively thin and flattened "fishhook" boasts a most unusual form and weighs a healthy 26 grams. The elongated shape allows for a rather dramatic presentation in its custom engraved acrylic base that accompanies this collectible piece.
    Overall Measurements: 2.56 x 0.75 x 0.15 inches (6.50 x 1.90 x 0.37 cm), weighs 26 grams

Provenance: From the Collection of Frank M. Levy, Ex. Collection of F. John Barlow.

[Scale: 1 inch, with mark at 1 cm]

    Estimate: $8,000 - $12,000.
