Hailing from the famed Atlin District in British Columbia, Canada, this Gold nugget weighs a stout 61.6 grams (1.98 troy ounces). This historical region of Canada is located in the far northwest corner of the province and is the Gold Rush capital of the region. The "pancaked" mass has been weathered smooth but retains perfect golden color, luster, and "nugget" form. This example is a quintessential nugget, dense for its size, and has evidence of once having crystal form with one remaining tiny crystal hanging off the side. This is a very special offering from a renowned locality.
