Presented on a custom acrylic base, this incomparable Crystallized Gold on Quartz is phenomenal with a gorgeous "latticework" of vibrant yellow metal, up and down both sides of the slender piece. The complex Gold with numerous holes and cavities is extremely appealing, and the form allows a view of a relatively large, thin mass of white Quartz on which the precious metal has grown. With an abundant total weight of 4.84 troy ounces, this specimen example is worthy of any collection, and a measurement of almost 5 inches (12.7 cm) reconfirms the substantial nature of the golden wonder. Out of Tuolumne County, California, this is a collector-grade Gold from a historic American locality where a significant Gold Rush began in 1848, and which was part of the larger California Gold Rush.
