Bursts of Rutile needles form parallel to each other like shining strands of flaxen hair, inside of an otherwise extremely clear Quartz sphere, with radiating threads that weave throughout the Quartz. This is really as good as it gets when it comes to Rutilated lapidary material, as the Rutile is so consistently placed throughout the Quartz and there are no extraneous inclusions to get in the way of this sphere's simple beauty. Playing with this specimen in person is a true delight, as one can easily get lost in the forest of gold trapped in this smooth appealing shape.
