A single deposit in China's Hunan Province, which has seen very diminishing production, has released this outstanding specimen. Standing nearly 17 inches (43 cm) tall, this highly decorative natural work of art offers the unique combination of stone and art that can easily be integrated into home décor. While the inherent mineral composition for this material is not rare, the formation definitely represents an uncommon occurrence. The stone can be listed as a gem due to its singular and superlative nature. The floral designs are whitish and contrast in a stark beauty against the charcoal black of the smooth matrix rock.
