The range of quality exhibited by Chinese Stibnites extends from "ore sample", at one end, to groups such as this one at the other extreme. This specimen is notable for: 1. Being composed of large multiple crystals, 2. Freedom from damage to virtually all of the major crystals. 3. Excellent luster, and finally - sharply defined terminations. For the last couple of decades, the flow of fine Chinese specimens, such as this one, has been out of China. There are some clear signs that this trend is starting to reverse directions and that fine specimens are starting to be retained in China. Overall measurements of this fine piece are 18 x 8 x 6 inches. It sits on a custom labeled stand.
