GREEN FLUORITE "SNAKE"
Xianghualing Mine, Linwu Co., Chenzhou Prefecture, Hunan Province, China
Dynamic and strikingly formed aggregate of rich green, transparent Fluorite cubes with octahedral modifications on a typical gray limestone matrix. Some crystals display parallel phantom interiors, as they curve around in a circling habit that resembles a snake or, for the more excitable: the letter "C". Bright, glassy crystal faces are the hallmark of this exceptional and pristine specimen. The largest Fluorite cubes are 2 inches on edge. Overall dimensions are 9 1/2 x 10 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches. This fine specimen was procured from Daniel Jr. before it could be displayed to the general public. Stands upright on a custom labeled base.
