BRIGHT ORANGE CALCITE
Sarbai Mine, Rudnyi Altai, Qostaney Oblysy, Kazakhstan
Group of scalenohedral Calcites with a phantom inclusion layer of bright red-orange Hematite, along with a minor overcoating of druzy colorless Calcite. This unusual and colorful specimen looks like an orange flower that is covered with dew; the largest crystals are 1 ¼ inches on edge and overall measurements are 3 x 3 x 2 inches. Has a custom labeled base.
