Description
WulfeniteMammoth-Saint Anthony Mine, St. Anthony deposit, Tiger, Mammoth Mining District, Pinal County, Arizona, USA
10.5 x 7.7 x 5.5 cm (4.1 x 3.0 x 2.2 in)
Here is an eye-catching specimen from the Mammoth-Saint Anthony Mine (an Arizonan locality you don't see all too often anymore) that is richly adorned with dozens of vibrant, glassy Wulfenite crystals across its display face. The crystals are thin, fully transparent, and sharply tabular, with the largest measuring 1.3 centimeters and prominently perched near the right edge. Each Wulfenite crystal exhibits a vivid yellow-orange color that stands out dramatically against a glistening backdrop of black, botryoidal Hematite.
More Information: This piece is in excellent condition with some minor bruising on a few smaller crystals. This specimen is naturally brittle and may shed minor fragments during handling or transit. Please take care when unpacking and handling, and consider storing in a stable, protected environment to minimize material loss.
