Here is a sculptural specimen of intergrown botryoides of Wavellite, all of which are about as pristine as you could ask from this classic Arkansas locality. Most of the lustrous green Wavellite is aggregated in one large group residing at the center of the piece, with a handful of isolated botryoides at the bottom of the display and a single botryoid crowning the piece. Drusy, lighter green crystals blanket the areas where the Wavellite is absent, accenting the Wavellite and making the darker green color stand out even more. Set in a custom acrylic base that comes with the specimen, this piece presents very nicely, making for a very colorful and eye-catching display.
