The complexity, in terms of the form and surface, of this example of Turquoise cannot be understated as the piece is quite varied from every angle. The polished sections exhibit different hues of light blue and a number of shapes, punctuated by contrasting rough cavities that are still in natural condition. The shape of the piece is about as free-form as it gets, and this representation of the material from China provides great color that rivals examples of the variety from the more classic and expected localities like Arizona.
