This is an elegant, gemmy to translucent crystal of Elbaite Tourmaline from Paprok. It is a commanding crystal at just over four inches and has everything you want in a Tourmaline from this noteworthy locality. It is watermelon at the very base with a pink core and an outer green rim abruptly transitioning to lovely verdant green for much of the body of the crystal. The crystals grades into a thin blue-green zone and finally a pinkish-magenta at the termination. The multi-peaked termination is architectural, and the luster is excellent top to bottom. It is complete and uncontacted for a 360-degree specimen, save for the base, of course, and can be displayed from any angle. This beautiful crystal has a mass of 102 grams. A true classic!
