"A most unusual cluster of prismatic doubly terminated white topaz crystals in parallel growth that are transparent near their terminations. The cluster is about 5.5 inches across and the crystals up to about 3 inches long and an inch thick. Bought this specimen from Gerald Clark but he had no better locality for the specimen."
    - Rock H. Currier

We're not sure how it can be that there is no better locality data for such a fine group of Topaz crystals, as this is. In any event, it is a large and very unusual group of doubly terminated Topaz crystals arrayed in roughly parallel form. It ranks highly as a desirable specimen no matter what the locality might be. In other notations Rock had "Guanaco, near Tal Tal" in his notes, but that is in Chile, so there is major confusion as to where this specimen was found. Obviously it exists. Now the big question is: where is this mystery specimen from? Accompanied by a custom acrylic base.
