One wonders whether the miners who extract these glittering treasures ever become immune to their charms, and it just becomes a job. Possibly jaded miners aside, it is hard to ignore the complex forms and the sheer multitude of components that make up this three-dimensional conglomeration of Zeolite minerals. Here vermiform Chalcedony growths with druzy Quartz frosting are host to randomly oriented Heulandite fans of pearly luster and salmon-pink hue. Also occurring on the green stalactites are smaller, pale 'diamonds' of Stilbite. The green coloration is due to ferrous iron incorporated in the interior of the Quartz. Condition is excellent with no observable damage and there is no matrix. See the 360 degree video of this specimen which is available online.
