Rudnyi Altai, Qostaney Oblysy, Kazakhstan
A group of golden-orange stellerite crystals arranged in a random grouping of 4+ globular aggregates of radiating structure on matrix. It is a member of the zeolite group of silicate minerals and is not commonly seen. Some of the spheres are 1 inch in diameter while the overall specimen measures 3 ¼ x 3 x 2 ¼ inches. There are a few scattered inclusions of an unidentified white mineral. A fine example of one of the rarer zeolites.
