The color of this beautiful Steve's Pocket miniature is fantastic, especially for the size, with all of the major Rhodochrosite colors displaying a deep cherry-red hue. These Rhodochrosite rhombohedrons are arranged beautifully along the top-edge of the matrix, which forms a pleasing upside-down triangle shape. These crystals are relatively gemmy and very lustrous, and the edges are in excellent condition. The matrix consists of a rich bed of Quartz, sulfides (some of which fluoresce a bright peachy-orange!), and even small Fluorite cubes, with a nice pale purple color. These glimmering Quartz crystals are all sharp, thin, and well-terminated, a classic association with Sweet Home Mine Rhodochrosite.
