This is a classic combination specimen from the world-famous Sweet Home Mine, featuring dozens of textbook rhombohedral Rhodochrosite crystals spread over a contrasting matrix of dark grey Tetrahedrite and sparkling white Quartz points. Reaching 1.4 centimeters across the edge, the Rhodochrosite crystals have a watery transparency and a highly desirable watermelon-red hue. A small handful of transparent, purple Fluorite crystals are isolated across the Rhodochrosite; other associations of brassy yellow Pyrite are sprinkled throughout the matrix. This piece comes with a custom acrylic base.
