Rock's old mining partner in Brazil, Osorio Neto, was his source for many fine Quartz specimens. However, he outdid himself with this Smoky-Amethyst Fenster Quartz. Complex surface growths give this single Quartz point incredible depth, and light reveals richly saturated purple zones throughout the crystal. The entire piece has been polished to a mirror finish to best reveal the complex and colorful interior. The piece culminates in a sharp termination that possesses a startling clarity and final burst of color. Oh yeah, and it's also HUGE. You might need two hands to lift this piece up to the light, but the final effect certainly makes the extra effort absolutely worth it.
