"Guerrero" Amethyst points are extremely rare, given that the material is no longer mined, not to mention the crystals are quite popular among collectors often only appearing out of older collections. This singular specimen offers incredible gemminess over its elongated and rich purple colored Quartz crystal. Phantom-like inclusions are visible inside the amazingly clear and nice Amethyst adding a further dimensionality to this superb example from the truly classic locality. This is a most unique association as the beautiful glassy crystal is attached to an "oyster shell" mass of matrix that gives an entirely additional visual attribute to the wonderful example. Presented on a custom engraved acrylic base to showcase this, unquestionably, gemmy mineral in the most appealing form, this Amethyst should catch the eye of any serious mineral collector.
