PYRITE ON MATRIX
Navajun, La Rioja Province, Spain
Three sharp, brassy cubes on matrix from the Ed David Collection. The largest cube measures some 2 ½ inches on edge. It also features a 'penetration' twin crystal, sprouting from one face. At 8 x 6 ½ x 5 ½ inches this is a large matrix specimen for this locality with very large crystals. There are a couple of nicks to edges, otherwise in excellent condition.
