A dramatic and sculptural cabinet specimen, this elongated Malachite stalactite displays a rich green coloration with a sparkling, finely textured surface. Its vertical form is both slender and commanding, naturally tapering in a classic stalactitic silhouette formed through mineral-laden water deposition over time. Adding further visual intrigue is a striking secondary growth of velvety Malachite sprays adorning the front of the formation. These soft, fibrous clusters contrast beautifully with the scintillating exterior, creating a compelling interplay of luster and texture. Sourced from the historic Shilu Mine-an area known for its Copper and secondary mineral specimens-this piece exemplifies the fine mineralogical aesthetics for which the locality is prized. The visually captivating specimen is accompanied by a custom-engraved acrylic base.
