This is a well-formed dark forest green Malachite stalactite. On the top right of the piece, there is a portion with a hole at the top which indicates the central tube with which the stalactite formed. Interestingly, the main part of the stalactite is open rather than a closed tube, and small botryoides of Malachite are visible on the inner surface. More botryoidal Malachite is situated at the "bottom" of the stalactite, acting as a setting for the piece. The sculptural presentation of the open Malachite tube makes this an interesting piece. This piece comes with a custom acrylic base.
