This piece of Magnetite features a massive group of dark grayish-black octahedrons with a luster ranging from matte to shiny. This specimen has unusually large crystals for the species, from a Canadian mine now closed some 25 years. The distinctive crystal grouping is in good overall condition with only some minor damage to the termination on two crystals. This stout specimen comes with a custom made acrylic base.
