Group of (4) Mineral Specimens

Offered is an assortment of four (4) cabinet-sized mineral specimens from the Daniel "Dan" R. Kennedy collection-some of which are from his original collection in the 1960s. Included is a Pyrite plate from the Huanzala Mine that is completely made of interconnecting pyritohedral crystals; a combination specimen made of Pyrite, Calcite, Sphalerite, Fluorite, and Galena, which was self-collected by Dan at the Naica Mine; Fluorite epimorphs after Calcite from the Santa Eulalia mining district, which shows rust-red, scalenohedral phantoms at the center of the cuboctahedral crystals, all covered in sparkling white Calcite; and red-purple Hexagonite from Fowler, New York.

More Information: All pieces are in excellent condition. Of the four pieces, the Hexagonite comes with a printed Kennedy collection label and the Pyrite, Calcite, Sphalerite, Fluorite, and Galena combination specimen comes with a hand-written collection label.
