Xianghualing Mine, Linwu Co., Chenzhou Prefecture, Hunan Province, China
A classic Xianghualing Mine Fluorite exhibiting two simple cubes of medium green Fluorite with characteristic grey "phantom" crystals in the center of each and positioned on a mixed Fluorite/Iron Oxide 'matrix.' Both cubes are extremely transparent with great luster and interesting growth surfaces on the cube faces. In addition to the two main crystals, there is a whole raft of secondary crystals covering the base and sides, which show the same form and extreme transparency seen in their larger brethren. All of the Fluorite crystals are so clear that the matrix is clearly visible. The largest cube measures an impressive 1.9 inches (4.9 cm) on edge. It has become increasingly difficult to find outstanding Chinese Fluorites as fewer and fewer specimens are being exported. The condition of this piece is excellent to pristine.
Overall Measurements: 4.3 x 3.9 x 2.4 inches (11 x 10 x 6 cm)
Offered at no reserve.
