This massive singular crystal on matrix from Shangrao is not quite by itself given the tiny 'sidecar' crystal that is attached near the base of the deep green geometric form. The contrast of the lime hue against its white matrix is quite breathtaking, and the tiny layered cube with a light purplish hue that even features an internal phantom near the edge of the blocky shape. Sharp intersecting faces define the crystal that protrudes from the snowy background rock. Only minor imperfections are noticeable over its lush, green surface. The reverse side is a mix of mineralization and tiny partial Fluorites are visible on the crystal matrix. This example has provenance of having coming out of the collection of Young Mineral Collectors member Zhang Jingnan.
