The Rogerley Quarry of England is a vastly prolific locality, meaning there are many opportunities for some rather unusual pocket names! The Naughty Gnome Pocket, as one example, is characterized by the sought-after Quartz matrices, a feature characteristic of only a small percentage of Rogerley finds. This specimen has this sparkling white Quartz matrix, which creates a beautiful contrast against the ridge of bright green Fluorite cubes that crest over the top of the Quartz. These Fluorite crystals have fantastic color, and the corners of the cubes are incredibly gemmy. Nestled between the Fluorite crystals are modified crystals of gunmetal Galena, a classic association. Under both longwave and shortwave UV, this specimen glows ridiculously fluorescent blue, so intense that you don't even need to display this in a dark area to show the fluorescence. This UV reactivity is so strong that this Fluorite will even take on a blue glow in regular daylight. There are small cleaves on two peripheral crystals.
