A broad expanse of vibrant teal Chrysocolla botryoides stretches across the entire display face of this large and striking specimen, forming a vivid contrast against the dark grey matrix beneath. The Chrysocolla is richly coated in a sparkling layer of drusy Quartz, giving the surface a frosted, shimmering appearance that catches the light beautifully. The color, texture, and size together create an almost moss-like aesthetic that is both organic and bold. Chrysocolla specimens from Arizona are widely prized, and the impressive scale of this example makes it a standout.
