A significant example of jackstraw style Cerussite from this important old Copper and metals mine in Australia. It seems these came out in the late 1800s or early 1900s and often came to American collectors at a premium at the time. This is a large, hefty example with particularly good form and luster. It is not too fragile, not too delicate, to hold and examine. These old specimens have a very interesting, machined look to them. These top examples are seldom seen except in old collections and are an important mineral for any collector of the Lead species.
