This entire specimen is composed of thick Calcite crystals, reaching 4.1 centimeters across, that are terminated and complemented with light to moderate stepped growths on some of the side faces, which mesh well with the piece's glassy luster. While the Calcite's themselves are colorless, dense rust-red phantoms of Hematite inclusions fill the interior. The real beauty of this specimen, however, is shown under shortwave UV light, setting the side faces ablaze with a fiery orange fluorescence. This piece comes with a custom acrylic base.
