Description

    Azurite
Czar Mine (Czar shaft), Copper Queen Mine (Halero Mine)
    Queen Hill, Bisbee
Warren District, Mule Mts, Cochise Co.
    Arizona, USA

Without question, this museum quality "Bisbee" specimen from one of the world's top Azurite localities is a serious collector mineral. This is a behemoth example with classic crystal form and habit, indicative of the noteworthy locality. It exhibits "bushy" vivid blue Azurite crystals across a large plate surrounded by beautiful Malachite and orangey botryoidal Limonite. This monstrous plate is an important specimen and comes from a locality prized by collectors of Copper minerals. Examples of this sheer magnitude and impact are few and far between not to mention becoming harder and harder to procure. This wonderful dark blue "classic" is accompanied by a custom kiln fired base reminiscent of old East Coast displays and will surely be a dominant fixture in any case worthy of having it.
