This visually curious mineral specimen features spherical Aragonite nodules atop a Copper and Limonite matrix. The botryoidal Aragonite crystals display a mauve hue with a matte finish and contrast beautifully against the green oxidizing Copper layer. Approximately two dozen orbs are scattered across the cabinet-sized specimen, with the largest "ball" measuring 0.53 inches (1.35 cm). On the reverse, there are two affixed collection numbers, "711" and "31.26." This Michigan specimen is an uncommon association, making it that much more intriguing. This example is in overall excellent condition and will make a statement in any collection.
