    Nashik District (Nasik District), Maharashtra
    India
    6.69 x 4.72 x 3.12 inches (17 x 12 x 7.93 cm)

This exceptional geode features one large open, central cavity populated with numerous clear, white crystals of Apophyllite of which many are quite sizable along with some small traces of peachy Stilbite together on a matrix of subtle bluish-gray Chalcedony. This decorative specimen measures well over a length of 6.5 inches (16.51 cm) adding to its impact. This excellent example from the Zeolite family is a weighty mass which beckons to be looked into by any admirer - and almost seems to be looking back!
