This open section of Amethyst has a grainy yellowish-green rind, a dull blue Agate banding and a layer of Quartz terminating in the purple crystals of that popular mineral. The hue is intense with crystal mounds extending out further than the balance resulting in a relief to the colorful center of this decorative piece.
