Amethyst is a ubiquitous mineral, mainly due to the prevalence of this Quartz variety throughout many localities on the globe. One of the most instantly-recognizable finds of this species is the material from the Blue Point Amethyst Mine in Thunder Bay, Canada, due to the signature Hematite inclusions. This particular specimen is a large, glassy cluster, populated with dozens of sharply terminated Quartz points. Of course, every one of these points is richly included with deep burnt red Hematite, which complements the base color of dark purple very nicely. This specimen was kept in excellent condition, with only minor bruising on a few peripheral crystals. This specimen comes with a custom engraved acrylic base.
