"Herkimer-style" Quartz

An elegant arrangement of striking "Herkimer-style" Quartz crystals that have neatly clustered atop one another, branching off the largest crystal (6.8 centimeters) in two opposing directions. Just about every crystal is completely water-clear and has an extremely flashy luster; there are a handful of exceptions that have small black inclusions, which contribute to the specimen's overall presentation. During the extraction process, Herkimer clusters like this are very seldom brought out of the ground intact and require reconstruction to recapture the splendor of its original formation. This piece comes with a custom acrylic base.

More Information: This piece is in excellent condition with eight points of re-attachment, which is very common in cabinet-sized specimens such as this.
