This fragment of the Chelyabinsk meteorite, that exploded over Russia in February 2013, has most of the characteristics of a complete individual although seems to have been part of a larger specimen before it fractured off the main mass. The dark black example exhibits fusion crust and a bit of a triangular shape. The Chelyabinsk fireball was a widely witnessed fall and hit a frozen lake making recovery quite difficult.
Overall Measurements: 2.54 x 2.07 x 1.38 inches (6.45 x 5.25 x 3.51 cm), weighs 160 grams
