Another member of the rather exclusive Howardite-Eucrite-Diogenite ("HED") clan of meteorites, this achondrite Diogenite polymict breccia is visually intriguing due to a notable contrast between the cut and polished 'window' face with dark, mottled coloration, and the extremely light, reddish and rugged "bark-like" exterior texture. This specimen, weighing 316 grams and found in 2022, and acquired by the consignor in Mali shortly after, exhibits a unique appearance with a superb duality. The total known weight of this material, known as NWA 15788, is a mere 3.9 kilograms (8.6 pounds).
Measurements: 2.31 x 2.82 x 2.07 inches (5.88 x 7.17 x 5.25 cm), weighs 315.9 grams
