Belonging to the Howardite-Eucrite-Diogenite ("HED") clan of meteorites, this moderately shocked and low-weathered specimen is classified as NWA 15322 and represents a Eucrite of the monomict variety. This achondrite, found in 2021, weighs a substantial 3.5 kilograms (7.7 pounds) and boasts an intensely patterned polished display surface full of light-colored and organic-looking clasts against a gray matrix. The face measures 9 inches (23 cm) across and evidences minor dents and fissure cracks. The incredible and rocky exterior of the end cut is mottled, with two major recesses near the edge and a mountainous irregular convex shape. Like no other, this mass originated from the asteroid 4 Vesta or a similar parent body.
