Extremely unique and looking quite a bit like a feldspathic breccia meteorite, this is actually an enstatite achondrite known as an Aubrite. The material originated from an asteroid rather than the Moon, and an additional theory is that the Planet Mercury may have been the source. Examples like this larger offering weighing 361.9 grams are very special, and this amazing top-quality specimen found in Northwest Africa in 2022 has a hard, lava-like exterior, white casts amid the charcoal body, a large crater with a pocket full of light orangey coloration, and a polished window face that serves as a base for display orientation with the shape akin to that of a T-rex head in the abstract but which also contains a smooth face with whitish clasts in contrast to the blackish background. This is one incredible piece to hold in hand, with every face and angle holding something different to behold from a visual perspective. An amazing piece, to be sure; this Aubrite meteorite is phenomenal. From an origin as exotic as its appearance, this is so special and has been classified as NWA 15304. Both found and finished recently, this is destined to be a legend.
