Weighing some 207 grams, this offering of NEA 034 represents the Main Mass of the variety of meteorite classified as an LL3. Found in Libya in 2020, this superlative end cut features a very contrasting cut and polished 'window' surface, with a pleasing mix of light grayish-brown and golden-brown hues. In further contrast, the exterior is partly smooth, somewhat spotty, and displays a substantial fusion crust. The form offers a tapered shape and is a very considerable amount of such material, which has a total known weight of a scant 253 grams. This consignor purchased the specimen directly from a Libyan dealer at the end of 2020 for his own collection.
