An absolutely spectacular slice of the Allende Carbonaceous Chondrite, CV3, considered to be the most studied meteorite in history, this exceptional, large, polished slab weighs 134 grams. With both unusual color and stunning patterning, this gorgeous example is ideal in terms of size, shape, and aesthetics. An amazing offering, the slab boasts colorful inclusions, including "calcium-aluminum-rich inclusions," which represent material dating to the origins of the solar system. With an uncommon and pleasing greenish hue, this slice was prepared by Rock Falls Designs, known for doing highly skilled meteorite preparation. The broad full slice measures 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) across and is pristine on both of the substantial sides.
Measurements: 6.61 x 5.31 x 0.13 inches (16.80 x 13.50 x 0.32 cm), weighs 134.2 grams
