    Seymchan Meteorite Slice
    Pallasite, PMG
    Magadanskaya Oblast', Russia (62° 54'N, 152° 26'E)
    Found: June 1967
    2.96 x 1.66 x 0.16 inches (7.52 x 4.22 x 0.40 cm)

    Pallasites are considered by many to be the most beautiful varieties of all Meteorites which is not hard to understand given that they often feature golden-green crystals of Olivine. This polished specimen is covered on both sides by crystals making it an exquisite small slice of the famous Seymchan Meteorite.
